We do not sell personal information. We do not use advertising cookies. Analytics cookies are only enabled when you accept them in the cookie banner.

When you use Slingshotter, we may collect:

  • Firebase user identifiers, including anonymous account identifiers and signed-in account identifiers.
  • Device, browser, and technical information needed to run and secure the service.
  • Basic usage events, such as page views, sign-up, sign-in, checkout start, payment completion, game saves, epoch advancement, flight creation, and share actions, if analytics is enabled.

Local browser storage

Slingshotter uses browser storage for essential functions, including account persistence and cookie consent. Firebase Authentication may store authentication state in your browser so you can stay signed in.

If you accept analytics cookies, Firebase Analytics may use cookies or similar browser storage for analytics. If you choose "Essential only", analytics storage is denied and analytics collection is disabled.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, save, and restore your game.
  • Authenticate users, including anonymous play, email/password sign-in, and Google sign-in.
  • Maintain your player profile, plan, funding status, leaderboard tag, and campaign state.

Cookies And Analytics Choices

The Slingshotter landing page includes a cookie banner with two choices:

  • "Essential only" stores your preference and keeps analytics disabled.
  • "Accept" stores your preference and enables Firebase Analytics.

Slingshotter sets Firebase Analytics consent so that ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization are denied. Analytics storage is granted only after you accept analytics.

You can change your choice by clearing this site's browser storage and reloading the site.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. When you start a checkout, Slingshotter sends Stripe the checkout price, return URL, your Firebase user identifier, and, if available, your account email address. Stripe processes the payment details you enter in its checkout experience.

Slingshotter stores payment-related records needed to apply the purchase to your game account, such as your plan, purchase time, last payment session identifier, Stripe customer identifier, and paid funding status. Slingshotter does not store full payment card numbers.

How We Share Information

We share information with service providers that help us operate Slingshotter:

  • Google Firebase and Google Cloud services for authentication, hosting, cloud saves, Firestore database storage, Cloud Functions, error reports, and Firebase Analytics.
  • Stripe for checkout, payment processing, fraud prevention, tax, and purchase confirmation.
  • Google sign-in when you choose to authenticate with Google.
  • Google Fonts when your browser loads fonts used by the site.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to prevent abuse or security incidents, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

When you use links to third-party services, such as Discord, those services process your information under their own privacy policies.

Leaderboard

Slingshotter has a leaderboard. When a campaign becomes leaderboard eligible, leaderboard entries may show your leaderboard tag, base name or flag, campaign year, contracts revenue, completed contracts, and budget spent.

Do not use personal information in your leaderboard tag or base name if you do not want that information displayed to other players.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Slingshotter, maintain your account and campaign, process purchases, operate leaderboards, resolve errors, comply with legal obligations, and protect the service.

You can reset your active campaign in the game settings. To request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy help, contact support@slingshotter.space.

Security

We use Firebase, Google Cloud, and Stripe security features to help protect the service and your information. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so please use a strong password and protect access to your account.
